I’m a fitness loving foodie. My husband got me into fitness and healthy living in 2008, when we met, and I have never looked back. Each day I try to find something new to improve my life. I love to search for and read the latest fitness research. I also love to cook and bake! My blog is mainly dedicated to healthy recipes with some fitness info sprinkled into the mix. My recipes are my own concoctions unless stated otherwise. I really enjoy coming up with healthier versions of foods that everyone loves. I am a healthy/clean eater but don’t follow any specific diet trend. I have figured out what foods work for my body and have eliminated those that cause problems. I workout almost everyday in some way. I don’t really do much cardio but I walk/jog my dog everyday. I mainly focus on lifting heavy weights, using bands, doing yoga, and performing body weight exercises. I do not follow a specific workout regimen but believe in functional training for a healthy life. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Licensed Massage Therapist…both of these have fueled my passion for health and well-being. I love my life ā¤
